Shri. C.H Sreekanth, also known as Tripunithura Sreekanth. Shri Sreekanth’s artistry has been shaped by years of dedicated training under the guidance of legendary maestros, including Prof. Cherthala S. Dhinesh, Padma Bhushan T. V. Gopalakrishnan, and Mannargudi A. Easwaran. With a career spanning over two decades, he has had the privilege of accompanying many of Carnatic music’s finest, including Padma Bhushan Dr. L. Subramaniam, Padma Shri Trichur V Ramachandran, P. Unnikrishan, the Akkarai Sisters, and several other distinguished artists.
His versatility transcends borders and genres. Sreekanth is celebrated for his innovative projects such as ‘Soul Of Thani’, which explores the intricate world of rhythmic cycles, and ‘Saptadvika’, a cross-cultural collaboration bringing together Indian, Chinese, Malay, and Western musicians. He has represented India at international festivals and prestigious venues, including the Singapore Esplanade and events in China, the Middle East, and the United States.
Beyond performance, Sreekanth is a passionate educator, currently serving as Mridangam Lecturer at the Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai, and nurturing young talents at SMLP Music Academy in Kerala.
